The German Solar Industry Association, BSi, represents the German manufacturers and wholesale dealers of solar systems and components, as well as research institutes.

The BSi promotes the use of solar thermal and photovoltaic energy, gathers information about the solar market, publishes articles and studies about market development and perspectives and does lobbying work on the national and European level. The BSi calls for an increased use of solar energy worldwide and represents the German solar industry sector in international associations and committees.
