EREF represents the independent producers of this rapidly emerging new source of power and expertise throughout Europe, including prospective new members of the European Union and other neighbouring countries.

EREF monitors and represents information to the EU institutions, including the European Commission in its preparation and implementation of the expanding body of EU law and policy, the European Parliament and its members and committees examining and shaping this process, the Council of Ministers as it debate and approves specific elements of this law, the European Court of Justice in its review of the legal aspects of this EU legislative framework and other EU bodies such as the European Investment Bank and specific programmes and projects related to RE.
