Mission

The object of EWEA is to strengthen the development of wind energy markets and technology in Europe, and worldwide, in order to allow wind energy to achieve its full potential and contribute to a sustainable energy future.
 

Activities

EWEA members from over 40 countries include 230 companies, organisations, and research institutions. EWEA members include manufacturers covering 98% of the world wind power market, component suppliers, research institutes, national wind and renewables associations, developers, electricity providers, finance and insurance companies and consultants. This combined strength makes EWEA the world’s largest renewable energy association.The EWEA Secretariat is located in Brussels at the Renewable Energy House. The Secretariat co-ordinates international policy, communications, research, and analysis. It co-ordinates various European projects, hosts events and supports the needs of its members.
