Mission

ASES is a nonprofit, 501(c)3 organization dedicated to the development and adoption of renewable energy in all its forms.

 

Activities

Promotes the widespread near-term and long-term use of solar energy; organizes the National Solar Energy Conference; organizes the National Solar Tour; publishes SOLAR TODAY magazine, Advances in Solar Energy, the Sunbeam online newsletter and policy statements;sponsors issue roundtables in Washington, D.C.; distributes solar publications; and organizes a Solar Action Network.

Founded in 1954, ASES is dedicated to inspiring an era of energy innovation and speeding the transition toward a sustainable energy economy. The nonprofit advances education, research and policy. Based in Boulder, Colorado, ASES is the national arm of the International Solar Energy Society.
