Mission

Building on earlier experience within the programs of the Rockefeller Foundation, E+Co was established in 1994 as an independent company of entrepreneurs, investors, strategists and mediators focused on one mission: Bringing together technology, people and funding to create viable local enterprises that deliver affordable and clean energy to those in need.

Activities

Providing critical business advice and services combined with early stage investment in the form of debt or equity, the E+Co Approach assures that the right issues are being addressed from the human, financial and technical capacity points of view. After careful analysis of the situation, the market and the potential for a viable clean energy enterprise, a solid business plan is established. E+Co then invests seed capital to implement sustainable ventures that might otherwise never advance. Where appropriate, E+Co provides assistance in identifying co-financiers and/or later stage funders to move the enterprise forward to the next stage.
