The aim of the Parallax business is to achieve sustainable development through environmentally sound energy solutions.

The business is based upon providing affordable and acceptable energy solutions, often to people in rural areas who have no other access to basic services. Parallax manages activity that demonstrates the potential for increased use of non-grid fuels in poor communities. We also manage the national PACE Centre in South Africa (Promoting Access to Carbon Equity) that provides support for small-scale CDM projects involving renewable energy and/or energy efficiency. Parallax aims to address the barriers presented by limited affordability and accessibility to modern energy sources. Using our wide-ranging national and international experience, we are committed to implementing practical and sustainable development solutions.
