The Network of Portuguese Energy Agencies (RENAE) is a voluntary co-operation network founded in 2004 by all local, regional and national agencies for energy operating in Portugal. RENAE aims at sharing information and know-how between the agencies and developing common initiatives and projects in the fields of energy efficiency, renewable energy and sustainable development.

The first (2005) plan of activity of RENAE covers three main areas: promotion of RENAE, communication between members (website development) and organisation of events and training courses.
