The B-REED program is developing new energy enterprises in Brazil's northeast regions of Bahia and Alagoas that use clean, efficient and sustainable energy technologies to meet the energy needs of communities and families that do not have them.

B-REED offers training and tools to help entrepreneurs start and develop energy businesses. It also gives enterprise start-up support in areas such as business planning, structuring and financing. AREED has partnerships with banks and NGOs involved in rural energy development.
