The OPET Network is an initiative of the European Commission. Its aim is to promote the benefits of tomorrow's innovative energy technologies (with the exception of Nuclear energy).

OPET transfers the results of European and member state energy RTD that supports European Policy priorities into successful technology deployment within the market, for the benefit of all European citizens, translates European energy policy priorities into concrete actions at local, regional and European level snd tries to accelerate the pace of innovation.
