CLASP’s mission is to serve as the primary international voice and resource for policymakers and practitioners of energy efficiency standards and labeling for residential, commercial and industrial equipment and lighting in South and North countries worldwide.

CLASP facilitates technical assistamce in every aspect of energy efficiency standard-setting and labeling, from initial considerations of implementing an S&L program to monitoring and evaluation of an ongoing program with major programs underway in China, India and through various regional partnerships in the ANDEAN, ASEAN, APEC and elsewhere. CLASP offers global tools such as a practioners' S&L Guidebook, energy survey tools and a policy analysis calculator.
