Cetrud is a Non Governmental Organization in Western Uganda that focuses on rural development in Kasese District and Bushenyi District. The mission of Cetrud is to transfer appropriate, environmentally friendly technology to rural areas and to promote income-generating activities and a healthy lifestyle for the poor communities.

Cetrud trains local farmers in organic agriculture, brings appropriate technology to the community such as bucket irrigation and solar energy and introduces and educates on income-generating activities, like fruit production for sale.
