The Energy Foundation is dedicated to sustainable energy development and promotion of energy efficiency, through public education, market transformation, policy advocacy, promotion of renewable energy resources and demonstration and Promotion of technology and management techniques that are used in the efficient production, distribution and consumption of energy.

The Energy Foundation educates consumers through publicity campaigns, educational programmes and seminars about the rights and responsibilities of consumers, the benefits of reducing energy waste, and assist residential, commercial and industrial consumers in improving energy efficiency. It advocates for policies that address customer service issues and promote national policies for the sustainable development of energy and the adoption of energy saving technologies and undertakes energy related market research and development activities for itself and on behalf of other entities.
