KITE is a non-governmental organisation based in Ghana. Its mission is to influence policy formulation and implementation in favour of sustainable development through research, training, project development and implementation in energy, technology and environmental issues, in partnership with other leading local and international organisations.

KITE implements action research projects and undertakes feasibility studies as well as project management and evaluation for local and international organisations (governmental and non-governmental). KITE also provides training for personnel from both the public and private sectors in areas ranging from technological learning and technical change through technology and energy policy research methodologies, to integrated energy resource planning and climate change mitigation.
