Research and development of high-efficiency energy systems.

Passive House Institute works as consultant to architects and engineers on planning and design of passive construction, supports manufacturers on development and optimization of components suitable for passive construction and performs energy use and comfort measurements on buildings. The institute organizes presentations, seminars and meetings on the subject of passive construction and accomplishes scientifically based certification. Moreover the Institute develops concepts and simulations of solar energy use, computes interior air flow using computational fluid dynamics, and multizonal airflow models and much more.
