The goals to be achieved are the improvement of our companies’ competitiveness and the maintenance of an equitable socio-economic balance, which is a prerequisite for the correct management of the goods and services market (a first concern for this FPS).

Therefore, three main objectives are to be realised :

1. the will to actively contribute to the organisation of the above-mentioned market, by developing, modifying, adapting the applicable rules;

1. the necessity, in order to realise this programme, to provide for a methodical and thorough observation of the various activity sectors, the matters coming under their competence and the problems they have to deal with, without neglecting the allocation of market power in every single market component: consumers, self-employed, SMEs, large Belgian and foreign companies;

1. the unquestionable scientific precision by using high-quality and trustworthy instruments for analysis, planning and statistics.

For every energy source you will find relevant information about current legislation, statistics, prices (official tariffs), etc.
