Our business is the turnkey development
of wind farms and biomass power plants.
With a yearly project volume of circa 70 million Euros, ABO Wind AG is one of Europe’s most successful developers of wind energy projects. We plan and build wind farms both domestically and internationally.
We have a staff of 70 professionals located in Germany, Spain, France, Portugal, Argentina, Belgium, Ireland and Great Britain. Expansion into other European countries is scheduled.
Wind Energy
ABO Wind initiates wind farm projects, acquires site locations, organizes all technical and business planning, arranges international bank financing and delivers turnkey wind farms. Up until now, ABO Wind has connected more than 155 wind energy sites to power grids with a total capacity of more than 220 megawatts. (as of 1st Quarter 2007)
Bioenergy
In the bioenergy sector, biogas plants are being planned and built.
Operation Management
In addition to managing the self-developed projects after commissioning, ABO Wind takes on the commercial and technical management of wind farms on behalf of international operators.
ABO Wind manages 122 wind farms and 3 biogas plants. (as of 1st Quarter 2007)
Financing
The financing team arranges structured financing for ABO Wind projects and acquires projects in various planning stages from external parties. Financing is obtained within the context of larger portfolios. In this way, projects are not only accelerated but usually also gain in value.
Investment
ABO Wind offers investors solid investment opportunities in wind energy funds, wind farms and bioenergy projects. ABO Wind shares are traded off-market (OTC).
