The Ministry of Economy, with its Energy and Mining Devision, is the ministry in charge of energy policy. The Ministry of Economy submits to the Government energy needs and policy proposals, drafts secondary legislation and/or regulations in collaboration with the Croatian Energy Regulatory Council, in order to establish general principles on the basis of which the Croatian Energy Regulatory Council acts.
