Responsibilities of the Ministry of Economics and European Integration include:

• Involvement in forming a state policy of economic and social development of Ukraine.
• State economic policy on Ukraine Integration in to the world economy.
• Accomplishment of economic and social cooperation with the European Union (EU.)
• Involvement in forming and implementation of state policy in the field of interaction with international financial organizations, economic groupings, corresponding interstate and regional organizations, including credit-financial institutions of other states.
• Work coordination related with attraction of international technical assistance, ensuring, in the terms of its authority, protection of economic rights and legal interests of Ukraine.
