The Albanian Ecological Club has 3700 members. It organized the first Environmental Engineer postgraduate student of Tirana University, in March 2004 and wrote a project for the first Biogas Plant in Albania using manure from 200 cows. The club hopes to published how to construct solar panels for hot water in its ecological magazine "Round and round". It aims to create new experience especially with young people to work for more biogas plant and other Renewable Energy activities in Abania.
The club would like to used biogas and not to burn wood; to inform people about Renewable Energy, and recently have started working on solar energy. In future the club will work in many other fields.
The club aims to protect the environment from greenhouse gases (GHG) and to improve health condition for local people.
