Vision and Mission to guide policies, strategies and programs of the Ministry of Hydrocarbons and Energy are presented below.

Mission

The Ministry of Hydrocarbons and Energy is the executive body which has strengthened the leading role of the state in the energy sector, proposing and managing sectoral policies that are implemented in the country through its strategic entities, ensuring energy security and sovereignty and industrialization hydrocarbons, consistent with the conservation of the environment and making Bolivia in the powerhouse of the region.

Vision

The Ministry of Hydrocarbons and Energy develops the centralized planning of the hydrocarbons and electricity sectors, proposing, implementing and coordinating policies, rules, strategies and development plans, aimed at optimum utilization of energy resources to strengthen the productive sector and improve the quality life of the population, ensuring adequate development of all players in the sector.
