The EuroACE member companies together employ 328,000 people and have a turnover of 140 billion euro. The mission of EuroACE is to work together with the European institutions to help Europe move towards a more sustainable pattern of energy use in buildings, thereby contributing to the EU's commitments on carbon emission reductions, job creation and energy security.

Activities

The main objectives for EuroACE in the coming period is to: 1. Ensure existing legislation, such as the EU Energy Performance of Buildings Directive, is properly transposed and implemented in Smembet States. 2. Encourage the best use of fiscal and financial instruments at EU, national and regional level to facilitate the increased uptake of very low energy buildings 3. Ensure the revised EU Energy Efficiency Action Plan contains robust measures on how to tackle energy use in the existing building stock and a clear commitment to specific means of delivery 4. Implement the Renovate Europe campaign to promote a doubling of the renovation rate for energy efficiency over the next five years. This can be done at cost-optimal level. 5. Work with other alliances to ensure that energy efficiency remains a top priority for Europe.
