Fiper spreads the message that a wider use of biomass will bring tangible benefits in the field of agriculture, forestry, environment and employment. To achieve such a goal, Fiper uses co-generation plant fuels by woody biomasses connected to district heating network, biogas plant and bio-fuel. FIPER promotes and develops the short agro-energetic channels to maximise local agricultural and forest resources. Fiper’s aim is to encourage local economy by new sustainable territory management.

FIPER promotes and diffuses a new energetic, economical, environmental sustainable and efficient model. FIPER is engaged to: - Defining Guide-line to build district-heating network by biomasses in mountain villages under 6.000 habitants; - Influencing governmental action about efficiency title by the use of renewable energy; - Encouraging the integration between technological research and entrepreneur Fiper’s experience; - Creating bio-energetic district in partnership, with agricultural system; - Representing Italian energy renewable producer request at European level; - Changing behaviour of citizens concerning save energy; - Communicating to different stakeholders economical and environmental benefits by the use of renewable energy. - Promoting the exchange, the transfer of appropriate technologies, and the partnership with other European associations.
