ICRA Management Consulting Services Limited (IMaCS) is a fully owned subsidiary of ICRA Limited (ICRA). We functioned as a division of ICRA till we were recently spun off as a standalone company . As a division of ICRA, we adopted the brand name “IMaCS” on December 1, 2004, earlier to which we operated under the name “ICRA Advisory Services”. IMaCS has about 14 years of consulting experience during which we have completed over 800 projects across 20 countries. Group ICRA comprises three businesses, namely, Credit Rating, Management Consulting, and IT/BPO Services, which are offered by four different companies, namely, ICRA Limited (the parent company), and three fully-owned subsidiaries, IMaCS, ICRA Techno Analytics Limited (ICTEAS) and ICRA Online Limited. Launched in 1991 in India, ICRA has been set up by a number of prominent Indian financial institutions, banks, and insurance companies. In September 2001, Moody's Investment Company India (Private) Limited, a 100% subsidiary of Moody’s Investors Service, USA (one of the world's leading credit rating agencies), became the single-largest shareholder in ICRA.
