They are working to address to energy needs of Ontario's low income households and to promote policies that tackle problems of energy poverty and homelessness. They want to reduce Ontario's contribution to smog and climate change and promote a healthy economy through efficiency, transition to renewables, education and consumer protection.

They hold free workshops where consumers have the opportunity to make new contacts and get advise from experts as well as each other. On their homepage there's a list of possibilities for assistance with energy related payments, for example the Energy Emergency Fund or Share the Warmth.
