CCNB has campaigned to stop the building of a second nuclear power plant at Point Lepreau, end the spruce budworm spray program and establish portected wilderness areas in the Kennedy Lakes and the Christmas Mountains. The also clean rivers, enacted th Clean Water Act, discovered and cleaned lead smelter contamination, and created a legal framework to force NB to provide at least 10% of its electricity from renewable sources.
