IDSS works with communities, organisations and governments to build local capacity, to advocate for access to resources and for the delivery of basic services.

We also focus on building knowledge, skills and relationships so that communities, civil society and governments can provide their own services and manage them for the future.

We have a breadth of experience across the globe, and we currently specialise in the Asia Pacific region. We have delivered over 200 projects in approximately 50 countries across: democratic governance; civil society strengthening; water and sanitation; HIV/AIDS; education and training; natural resource management; sustainable livelihoods; maternal and child health; urban and rural development and; post disaster reconstruction.
