The system, deployed on a hotel rooftop can produce 55,000 litres of hot water per day by using a drain meander system that differs from other solar thermal collectors because inside the panel there are 19 copper pipes instead of nine modules that produces hot water on demand.

Solimpeks, alongside domestic business Newform Energy, has installed a hybrid solar collector system in the UK, which can produce hot water and electricity simultaneously. The project has a pay-back time of 34 months.

Generating heat and electricity: Since May 2010, 48 Volther PVT collectors by Solimpeks have both supplied hot water to a children's home in Surrey County, Great Britain, and fed solar electricity into the local energy grid. According to the manufacturer, the system's payback period is 12 years, thanks to the Feed-in Tariff scheme for solar electricity.
