Find below the instructions how to use reegle - The Information Gateway for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency
The Intelligent Search
Enter your query into the search term box, for example “renewable energy” and hit “GO”. In case the document you were looking for does not appear among the search results you can make your search more precise either by using the “advanced options” or the “Refine Your Search” tool.
The Search By Category
Using the search term box: For example if you are looking for the law on renewable energies in China enter e.g. ”renewables law china” into the search term box and hit “GO”.
Using the categories: For Example if you were looking for e.g. policy studies on renewable energies in European countries click on “Renewable Energy” in the “Sectors” of the left column and choose “Renewable Energy (general)” in the middle column. Click on Europe in the world map and choose “select all” in the middle column. Finally click on “reports or studies on Policy and Regulation” in the “Sectors” of the left column and hit “GO”. Deselect items from your search profile by clicking on the red X left to the term you would like to delete.
You can use the search term box and the categories combined.
Search results contain information on the title and content of the document, the date when it was last changed and the URL of the information source. Clicking on “details” will further show the file type, related categories and the exact URL from where the file is downloaded. If you are logged in you also have the possibility to add the document to your search basket.
The Actors Catalogue
Using the search term box: For example if you are looking for the “International Energy Agency” (IEA) you can enter either “IEA” or “International Energy Agency” into the search term box and hit “GO”. Clicking on (one of) the delivered search result(s) will take you to details of the chosen Actor - in our example the IEA - including the address and contact information as well as a short description of this Actor’s mission and main activities.
Using the categories: For example if you are looking for the Ministry that deals with energy issues in India, click on “National Government and Government Agencies” in the “Actors” section of the left column and choose “Ministry” in the middle column. Click on Asia in the world map and choose India in the middle column. Finally click on “Energy” in the “Sectors” of the left column and hit “GO”. Deselect items from your search profile by clicking on the red X left to the term you would like to delete.
